Toy Boarders!!! You get 24 little skateboarders! (No girls though, perhaps in their future packs… or snow or surf packs to come?) A fun twist on classic toy soldiers these little plastic guys are made in china but come from super local San Clemente, CA! Adorable… they are skating around our whole office and house now… take a peek at the silliness in a bag on the next page! (The video is pretty fun too!)

Little Honest Abes

Last week I spoke to 5th graders about Abraham Lincoln and our rights and being good citizens as part of a program put on by our state bar association. I got thank you cards from them today. Some things they said: 1. Half of what you said I did not know! 2. I learned about Abe Lincoln in 2nd grade but this was a nice refresher. 3. You made good eye contact.

Also, one kid just drew a picture of the Declaration of Independence, signed his name on it and then wrote “Oops, I meant the Constitution” below it. Clearly, I made a lasting impression.
